Master of Arts in Textiles, Merchandising and Fashion Design
Jaclyn received the Univeristy of Nebraska -Lincoln Chancellor’s Fellowship for her graduate career and finished her master’s program in May 2021. Her focus was on Textiles, Technology and Teaching specializing in textile techniques, 3D Body Scanning, Virtual Reality and their implications in Textile Learning Environments.
Jaclyn has taught TMFD Product Development I and II at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is the club coordinator for Pyrtle Elementary School and teaches K-5 sewing & fashion design.
Jaclyn is an entrepreneur and inventor. She owns a design & consulting firm called SEW Nebraska. She helps develop products through design thinking & prototyping. She received a United States patent for Garment with Integrated Speakers. She is the inventor of the CORE.Bra with sewn-in padding.
Jaclyn is a devoted wife and mother. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, volunteering at her children’s school, sewing and making her community a better place.
